About Us

The Virginia Tech School of Neuroscience is the first of its kind in the United States. The major has quickly become the second largest in the College of Science and one of the most popular in the university, presenting a more creative approach to traditional science. This, complemented by outstanding faculty and talented students made Virginia Tech the perfect location for a chapter of Nu Rho Psi. In 2018, this chapter was established by the executive committee, alongside our faculty advisor, Dr. Kristin Phillips. The Honor Society has been actively engaged in the neuroscience community since its first cohort in the Spring of 2019. Since then, the chapter has upheld the virtues of scholarship, leadership, and ut prosim.
